O AMOR ENTRE AS GRADES: RELAÇÕES AFETIVAS ENCARCERADAS

Résumé

Female incarceration is a complex phenomenon that involves issues of gender, romantic bonds, personal and family history and the world of crime. We propose to consider a discussion about gender, affection and transgenerationality of violence to understand the consequences of prison for women. Finally, we understand that incarceration has a crueler impact on women, creating an even greater state of vulnerability, helplessness, and stigma. Violence inside prison is naturalized and reinforces the extra-mural violence already suffered by women. Furthermore, gender inequality is accentuated in conditions of deprivation of liberty.
